Washington, D.C. – The more we learn about RFK Jr., the clearer it becomes that he should be nowhere near the White House. This week, we learned that he doubled down on blaming two Black and brown men for a murder his cousin was found guilty of in 2002.
Meanwhile, longtime West Coast resident RFK Jr. was exposed for lying about his supposed New York home address. Even his own campaign acknowledges he’s never lived at a friend’s residence that is listed as his residence on his ballot petitions.
Also this week, we learned that RFK Jr. is relying on a network of obscure and defunct minor political parties to get on the ballot in states across the country. The Bulwark reported that the “Natural Law Party” of Michigan nominated RFK Jr. at a two-person convention led by a part-time magician, while leaders from the same party’s Florida branch called RFK Jr.’s campaign “scammers.”
New polls show that RFK Jr.'s level of support may have peaked and his favorability rating has tanked, from 42.1% in June 2023 to 35.3% in June 2024. Clearly, RFK Jr.’s candidacy has no path to 270 electoral votes and will only help Trump’s reelection.
