Washington, D.C. – As Vice President Kamala Harris continues her swing state stumping, Jill Stein is stooping to new lows and garnering support from autocrats like Vladimir Putin and avowed racists like Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke. By working hand-in-hand with Republicans, Stein is making it abundantly clear she is nothing more than an empty ideological shell bent on ruining Democratic chances of keeping the White House.
For months, MoveOn has sounded the alarm about third-party spoilers, like Jill Stein, Cornel West, and Robert F. Kennedy, after torpedoing No Label’s GOP-funded bid. Heading into the election, MoveOn and partners aren’t taking any chances and are bringing the fight to them.
In a piece from The Hill, MoveOn’s Chief Communications Officer Joel Payne lambasted Stein, saying, “She’s funded, supported and co-opted by extremist Trump MAGA loyalists who know she cannot win but that she only serves to make it easier for Trump to win.” Payne added, “That’s why so many of us who are fighting to keep Trump away from the White House are doing the work to call out Jill Stein, her MAGA backers, and her extremist ideas like defending white supremacists and Jan 6 insurrectionists.”
Jill Stein’s vote totals in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin alone in 2016 were enough to sink Hillary Clinton’s campaign, and the stakes are too high to let that happen again.
Never listen to what Jill Stein says. Watch what she does. Instead of standing with progressives, Stein is continuing to willfully collude with Republicans, autocrats, and outright racists to usher in Trump’s dangerous Project 2025 agenda. Earlier this week, Stein earned the endorsement of former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke – just the latest in a long line of examples.
She’s defended white supremacists and January 6th insurrectionists. She’s funded, supported, and co-opted by extremist Trump MAGA loyalists. Stein is telling us who she really is and proving that any vote for a third-party spoiler is really just a vote for Trump.
