Washington, D.C. – Today, MoveOn Political Action condemns Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for taking millions in campaign donations from right-wing, conservative organizations and his own anti-vaccine organization.
The campaign’s latest financial disclosure form shows donations from conservative book publishers and Christian colleges, oil and gas companies, Kennedy Jr.’s own anti-vaccine organization, and several returns from his own ventures or organizations, including Bitcoin.
"RFK Jr. never met a conservative conspiracy theory he wouldn't try to monetize. His financial disclosure proves he's a grifter indebted to the powers that be in Trump World," said MoveOn Political Action Spokesperson Britt Jacovich. “Voters can see through his dangerous charade. That's why the RFK Jr. campaign has failed to raise money or move polls, and why it relies on Donald Trump's biggest donors to keep the campaign afloat and reelect Trump.”

Background:
The RFK Jr. campaign is propped up by Trump allies and conspiracy theorists:
- RFK Jr. has received more than $25 million from Timothy Mellon, Trump’s biggest donor.
- In 2023, RFK Jr. took more than $400,000 each from conservative book publisher Skyhorse Publishing and JW Howard/Attorneys, a law firm that has litigated more than 40 cases against vaccine mandates just in the past year.
- RFK Jr. received $12,000 in speaking fees from Hillsdale College, a conservative Christian college that was implicated in the January 6 attack on the Capitol.
- RFK Jr.'s disclosure also shows that despite his history as an environmental attorney, he holds nine different oil and gas leases through Arctic Royalty, which was fined for pollution infractions in East Palestine, Ohio, due to the 2023 train derailment.
- RFK Jr. took $215 000 from Children's Health Defense, an anti-vaccine organization he co-founded. The organization is tax exempt and previously paid RFK Jr. an annual salary of $510,515 in 2022 (up from $40,200 in 2016).
- Before becoming his running mate, Nicole Shanahan gave $4.5 million to RFK Jr. Super PACs. Since then, she’s donated an additional $10 million directly to his campaign committee, Team Kennedy.
